Our trip to the library.

Today we took a rip to the Hutt City Library with all of the junior classes.

We listened to some stories and compared our library and the public libraries around the Hutt Valley.

We learnt that the Hutt City Library was also called the War Memorial Library. We also saw some amazing paintings which displayed sacrifice and hope which our ancestors fought for in the war.

Then we had morning tea and a little play at the park.

Day 30!

Today we celebrated day 30. Mrs Manabe brought in 30 pieces of fruit - 3 apples, 2 oranges, 1 pear, 2 bananas and 22 grapes. So we made fruit salad!!!!!

First we fair shared the fruit onto 3 plates

Then we fair shared them onto 2 plates

Then Mrs Manabe chopped it all up ready to be served fairly into the 20 cups.

Yum Yum!!!

Check out all the fair sharing we were able to do with 30.
