Pack the Bus!!!!

What a wonderful experience 'Pack the Bus' is! We have spent some time talking about 'donating' in Room 1, and building an understanding that we are very lucky to live the lives we do, and that not everybody is as fortunate as us. The children all brought in something to donate to the Wellington City Mission and as a school, we 'packed the bus'! Santa was there, carols were sung, it was a fantastic afternoon for us all :)

Tennis!

This term we have been learning tennis skills. A professional tennis player 'Patty' comes in every Monday to teach us a few tips and tricks. We have learnt how to hit the ball forehand, backhand and volley.

Pizza Making!

'Creating and Making' in the kitchen has been such fun this term. Check out the photos from the day we spent as 'Pizza Makers'.

We not only made and cooked our own pizzas, but we designed posters/flyers for them and filmed our own advertisements
