Minoh City and Lower Hutt City are 'sister cities' which formed a relationship in 1995. The house was developed by both cities and provides a focal point for the close relationship that the Wellington region has with Japan.
This was a truly wonderful opportunity for our students to experience authentic Japanese culture right on our doorstep! What a great day we had, thank you to Ikumi for your time and efforts, an experience we will remember :)
Also, a huge, huge thank you to our parent helpers, was so wonderful to have you all come along and share in the fun!
